How we handle it

Lanek runs on Amazon Web Services in Dublin.

Lanek reads from Xero or Sage, with QuickBooks coming, and never writes to the ledger.
AI only where you authorise it.
AI review runs on a client only once the practice has recorded its authorisation.

A person signs off.
Nothing is submitted without approval from someone with the right role.
Access by role.
Owners decide who sees what. Outside preparers see only their assigned work.
Nothing quietly deleted.
Records are voided or retired with a reason, and the history stays.
Erasure on request.
Personal data for individual clients can be erased in line with GDPR, subject to the retention periods the law sets.
Encrypted and backed up.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up regularly.
